Home Warranty

A HOME WARRANTY IS ALMOST A MUST HAVE!

You should always have your agent request that the seller pay for a home owner’s warranty.

Sellers have been willing to offer a home owner warranty to afford the buyer comfort in knowing that if something mechanical goes wrong the buyer can get it fixed for as little as $100.00.

How Does The Warranty Work?

The home warranty works as follows:

When you encounter a mechanical problem e.g. furnace, you call the 800 number provided in your warranty. Do not call a service repairman.  The warranty company will provide you with the number of the company. The company will come out and determine if it is a warranty claim. If so, they will either repair the item or replace it.  Your cost will only be the deductible.

Home owner’s warranties are renewable; thereby providing on-going protection for the buyer.
